Travel like nobility: experience the unique charm of the Rheingau in a historic 19th-century horse-drawn carriage and venture off on a journey down memory lane through picturesque landscapes and villages with your very own personal coachman. Enjoy a view of the vineyards with a glass of Fürst von Metternich sparkling wine as you ride in a horse-drawn carriage through the romantic region of the Rheingau, home to the Metternichs. We recommend three unique tours, guaranteed to turn your trip into an unforgettable experience.
Each tour starts and ends at Schloss Johannisberg and includes various stops along the way as well as a delicious picnic. You can choose between a classic horse-drawn carriage for 2–3 people and a wagonette for 4–5 people. The professionally trained coachmen are experts at handling 2- and 4-horse-drawn carriages.
For a small surcharge, you can also ride with an English-speaking female guide.
